AI AgentsTravel

The quotation inbox now runs itself, and consultants only sign off.

A Japanese travel agency replaced days of manual emailing, chasing and copy-pasting with an AI agent that takes each enquiry from first email to a reviewed quotation, on the agency's own systems.

The Challenge

The whole business ran on email. And email does not wait for anyone.

Enquiries arrived by email. Prices were requested from hotels, transport and attraction suppliers by email. The finished quotation went back to the customer by email. Between those steps sat attachments to read, missing details to clarify, supplier replies to wait for, and follow-ups to remember. Consultants spent most of their day coordinating rather than advising.

  • Every enquiry meant re-reading emails and attachments to extract the requirements by hand.
  • Supplier prices arrived over days, often across several emails, and had to be merged manually.
  • Follow-ups depended on someone remembering, so slow suppliers meant slow quotes.

The Solution

An agent that reads, asks, sources, waits and assembles, with people in control.

Fooyo built an email operations agent that owns the routine work of quotation. Consultants see every open case in a simple console, adjust any price or condition, and give the final approval. The agent does everything else.

Understand the enquiry

Reads each email and attachment, extracts the travel requirements, and writes back to the customer if anything is missing.

Source the prices

Applies contract rates where they exist; otherwise drafts and sends supplier enquiries, tracks replies, and merges tiered pricing that arrives across several emails.

Assemble and hand over

Calculates the quotation, generates the PDF, and places it in the console for a consultant to review and send.

How it works

From enquiry to quotation, without the inbox in between.

One agent, running every day across every open enquiry.

Step 1

Enquiry lands

The agent extracts requirements from the email and its attachments, including scanned documents.

Step 2

Gaps get closed

Missing details are requested from the customer automatically, in their language.

Step 3

Prices come in

Contract rates are applied instantly; suppliers are emailed, reminded and chased on a schedule the agent keeps.

Step 4

Consultant signs off

The assembled quotation is reviewed, adjusted if needed, and sent.

Does your team quote by email?

We’ll run the same agent on a sample of your real enquiries in the demo.

Consultants advise. The agent coordinates.

Time back for judgement

The gathering, chasing and assembling that filled the day now happens in the background. Staff time goes to advice and customer relationships.

No enquiry falls through the cracks

The agent remembers where every case stands. A supplier can reply a week late and the work resumes exactly where it stopped.

Faster, more consistent quotes

Amounts, exchange rates and rounding are calculated the same way every time, and the quotation is ready for review as soon as the last price arrives.

Built to be owned

The agent runs on the agency’s own backend, with the business rules in code and tested against real emails, so it can be extended as the business changes.

FAQs

Fooyo builds four production AI products: an AI Knowledge Base for instant, cited answers; Kakis, a marketing AI that generates branded short-form video; Fooyo Commerce®, an AI-powered storefront; and Smart Tourism, a platform for crowd intelligence, AI guides, and bookings.

Most Fooyo products go from kickoff to production in as little as six weeks — not the six-month timelines typical of enterprise AI builds.

Yes. Every deployment runs in your private cloud, not a shared public model — your data never trains someone else's AI, and every automated workflow includes human review gates.

We work across 12+ industries in 8 countries — retail, hospitality, tourism, education, media, transport, maritime and healthcare among them — for 150+ customers since 2014.

Yes. Every Fooyo product is built to plug into your existing stack — CRM, POS, CMS, and messaging channels — rather than force a rip-and-replace.

Yes. Our Singapore HQ runs AI research and development, our Chengdu branch handles development, and our Tokyo office covers business partnerships — so our products are built for Southeast Asia and ready for China, including WeChat Mini Programs.

We start with a 30-minute demo to match your use case to the right product, then move to a scoped pilot, private-cloud deployment, and ongoing operation — we build and run the product with you.

Consultancies hand you a report and a prototype. Fooyo builds and runs the product with you — production-grade, in your cloud, with human-in-the-loop oversight — so it actually ships and keeps working.
